    ThankScriping Day is Thursday, 9/17. It only happens 3 times a year, so get online and you can earn up to 20% with 85+ bonuses on eGift cards and money added to your reloadable gift cards. It’s a great opportunity to increase your tuition credit while earning for our schools. Check the RaiseRight app on Sept.16 to get a sneak peak at all bonuses.     Preschool  
     
    Picture Day will be on Tuesday, 9/22 and Wednesday, 9/23. Teachers will be dividing their classrooms into 2 groups. Please keep an eye out for a paper indicating which day your child will take his/her pictures. Picture order forms will go home AFTER pictures are taken with proof pictures for you to choose from.
     
    Johnny Appleseed Day(s) will be celebrated on Thursday 9/24 and Friday 9/25. Please dress your child in RED to help us celebrate.
     
    Parent Service hours opportunity: Johnny Appleseed day will be our first opportunity for parents to earn service hours! A Sign-Up Genius will be emailed to each class listing items to donate to our special days. If you would like to participate by donating items, you will earn service hours for the school year.
     
    Remote Preschool is underway: We are excited for the opportunity to offer Remote Preschool to families who are not ready for on- campus learning! This fun way of learning will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings via Zoom and will include weekly packets with five days worth of educational materials. If you or someone you know is interested in remote learning for preschool, please contact Mrs. Sara our preschool director.
     

     

    Elementary School
     
    The Cookie Dough & Magazine fundraiser will continue through Wednesday, 9/23. Information will be sent home with your child on their regular pod/remote day.
    • A Fundraiser Coordinator Is Needed to take over the Cookie Dough/Magazine Sale fundraiser for the 2021-22 school year. Service hours do apply. Please call the school office if interested at 562-920-9902.
     
    MAPS Testing for students in grades K-6th will continue through 9/25. Your child will be tested on their regular pod/remote day.
     

     

    Middle School  
     
    The 1st Quarter Progress Report period ended Friday, 9/11. Parents will receive an email later this week when the Progress Report grades are finalized.
     
    MAP Testing will begin Today. Please be sure that your student is signed up for one Reading test time slot and one math test time slot. Here is the link to the Google Sheet for sign-ups, .
     
    The fall athletic season (boys flag football, girls' basketball and cheer) has been pushed back. Currently, games for this season are scheduled to begin playing the week after Thanksgiving Break (week of November 30). This would schedule tryouts in early November. (Cheer squad was already chosen in the spring). Please tentatively mark your calendars if your son or daughter is interested in trying out for these sports. Please keep in mind that these particular arrangements can be changed/canceled based on the county and state rules and regulations of participation in youth sports during the Covid-19 pandemic.
     
     

     
     
    High School
     
    School Pictures - If you ordered school pictures of your student, they are ready to be picked up at the High School office. The High School Office hours are 7:45 AM-3:00 PM.
     
    Senior Parent Meeting on Monday, 9/21 at 6:30 PM (parents only). Please join us for Senior Parent Night on Zoom. Hear how you can support your senior student through the college application process. The presentation will cover what to expect and how to prepare for a successful senior year. This meeting will also be recorded and posted to the website so you can watch it later.
     
    Mark Your Calendars! Wednesday, 10/14 is Testing Day
    • Freshmen - no school
    • Sophomores - no school
    • Juniors - optional PSAT testing on campus (should be signed up already through Counseling department, waivers required to be on campus)
    • Seniors - optional SAT testing on campus (should have already signed up through Counseling department, waivers required to be on campus)
